In collaboration with Stockholm-based startup Magnea, ArcticBee’s team embarked on an inspiring journey to create a groundbreaking med-tech solution. The result was the Magnea project, a custom-made activity tracker complemented by innovative software. This revolutionary project aimed to enhance the recovery process for individuals after surgery or cancer treatment while also promoting an active and fulfilling lifestyle for seniors in elderly care facilities.
At the core of the Magnea project was the shared vision of leveraging technology to improve the lives of individuals facing unique health challenges. ArcticBee and Magnea recognized the potential of wearable technology and software to empower users in their post-treatment recovery and senior care journey.
Magnea project's custom activity tracker was thoroughly designed to cater specifically to the needs of post-surgery patients and elderly individuals. The device, worn on the arm, integrated with the user's daily routine, tracking crucial health metrics and activities.
The activity tracker was complemented by innovative software. This intuitive platform allowed healthcare providers to access and interpret the data collected by the activity tracker. The software provided valuable insights into the user's progress, supporting effective recovery or active living plans.
For individuals recovering from surgery or cancer treatment, Magnea project offered a supportive companion. The activity tracker and software provided real-time feedback on physical activity levels, ensuring patients adhered to their prescribed recovery plans.
In elderly care facilities, Magnea project redefined the approach to senior care. The activity tracker encouraged residents to stay engaged, active, and socially connected, promoting physical and mental well-being. The software allowed caregivers to monitor residents' activity levels, enabling personalized care plans to enhance each individual's quality of life.
